And I Thought Split Ends Were Bad!

In the past couple of weeks, I have discovered not only my first, but SEVERAL grey hairs. Isn't 27 (okay, almost 28,) a little too young for this? Especially considering I don't have children??? Or even pets!?!? What is the "normal" age a person gets grey hairs?

When I updated Aaron this morning that I had not only found the one grey hair mentioned in December, but that I now had a few, he said it must be the mouse. Yes that's right - we found a dead mouse on Sunday. Maybe one day Aaron will describe how I reacted.... All I know was that my heart didn't stop pounding for about an hour... And now I have a lot of grey hairs. :(

Congratulations to Aaron, Freddy and Marni who were the first to become followers after my contest tweet last week. In the interest of good PR, I'm going to declare that Cam and Ernie, (help me out... Is this Grandpa or Ernieson?) who had already been followers since the inception of the original Gies Gossip page in the fall.

Oh my God.... A LOT of stuff has happened since I last wrote.... I have a ton of good ideas, but never actually write them down. Someone should invent a machine that reads our thoughts and puts it into text.Sigh... From now on.... Random thoughts. If they somehow link up together, consider yourself lucky.

1) New Years resolutions: Okay, that in itself is a blog.

B. We are getting stainless steel appliances. YES!! :D (Watch for details about how this purchase violated a resolution early.)

III) I went to my first Leafs game on Saturday night! Air gave me a retro jersey for Christmas and I cheered my damn ass off. Good game, good company and even good spirits when I realized I had lost my wallet in an already drunken attempt to carry an armful (of beer,) back to my seat. So I got on the horn as soon as we got home and had all my cards canceled.

Well, that's all I got for now.... I really will post my resolution blog soon....

I think I should add, "Quit procrastinating" to the list.
